Staircases:
Staircases are a particular specialism of ours. Since our launch we have designed, manufactured and installed in excess of 850 staircases and associated balustrade systems ranging from basic galvanised industrial staircases and functional steel staircases up to multi-flight helical feature and spiral staircases.
By working closely with our Clients and their Design Teams, we can produce a fully working and co-ordinated design from the most basic concept drawing, providing solutions to our Clients’ specific requirements.
Balustrades:
Over the years we have developed, manufactured and installed a wide range of different balustrade designs including structural glass, mild steel and stainless steel. Our joinery department work in conjunction with our fitters to produce the finished article without involvement from other Subcontractors. We have an unending passion to produce a very high quality finished product which satisfies the design criteria and exceeds our Clients expectations.
Balconies:
To date we have manufactured over 3,500 bespoke balconies ranging from simple channel frame type to complicated circular balconies for prestigious projects located in the heart of the Capital. Our modern manufacturing facilities allows us to manufacture large multiples of balconies in a very short space of time meaning we can install on site within the very tight programmes dictated by most modern construction programmes.
Canopies:
Our design capabilities allow us to efficiently and accurately detail overhead canopies ranging from a single entrance door canopy to complex glazed tubular cantilevered and suspended systems.
Structural and secondary steelwork:
It is typical for many Metalwork Contractors to specialise in either Structural or Architectural metalwork. At Catalyst Engineering we can offer both disciplines under one roof eliminating the headache for many Clients in managing the interface between the two.
We have the capabilities to design, fabricate and erect structural steelwork up to 75 tons.
Our Execution Class Three capabilities under BS EN 1090 (CE Marking) demonstrates the high standards we consistently achieve and therefore allows us to carry out some of the most complex and technically-challenging structural steel projects.
